Kinefinity VISTA

€2.499,00 ex Vat

€2,499 excluding VAT. Your selected lens mount is included.

Included with the camera
VISTA body with your chosen KineMOUNT, Active E-mount or Active PL Mount, USB-C to locking 2-pin power cable and a 50cm USB-C cable. Includes the Gafpa Gear VISTA LUT Pack.

What you need separately
A lens and a suitable battery or power supply. KineMOUNT requires a separate lens-mounting adapter; Active E and Active PL accept lenses with the matching mount. The camera has a built-in screen and 220GB internal storage, so an external monitor and CFe card are optional.

Build your shooting kit
The VISTA Core Kit adds batteries, charger, side handle and removable media. The VISTA Pro Kit expands the rig with a cage and top handle. For KineMOUNT, choose from our lens-mounting adapters. Your native mount can be changed later; contact us to plan the conversion.

Description

Kinefinity VISTA 6K full-frame cinema camera

The Kinefinity VISTA brings a full-frame 6K sensor, a large articulating OLED screen and internal recording into a compact cinema-camera body. Choose the mount that fits your lenses and build the camera around the way you shoot.

Price and availability

The Kinefinity VISTA is €2,499 excluding VAT, including your selected lens mount.

This pre-order is non-binding and fully refundable before shipment. Reservations are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Contact Gafpa Gear if you need an update on your allocation or delivery.

Full-frame recording with room to reframe

Record the 6016 × 3984 Open Gate image for a taller frame and more options for reframing in post. Firmware 10.1 supports up to 39 fps in Open Gate, 50 fps in 6K 17:9 and 60 fps in 6K 2.4:1. Smaller sensor windows provide higher frame rates. The Codecs & FPS tab lists the exact recording modes and sensor areas.

VISTA records 10-bit ProRes and H.265 with KineLOG3 for grading. The built-in 220GB SSD lets you record without inserting a separate card, while the CFexpress Type B slot provides another recording-media option.

Choose your lens mount

  • KineMOUNT: Kinefinity’s adapter interface. Add the appropriate lens adapter from our lens mounts and adapters category. Options include PL adapters with clear glass or electronic ND. If you choose an e-ND adapter, a separate clear option is useful when you need to shoot without ND.
  • Active PL: a native PL connection for compatible PL cinema lenses. This camera-side mount has no built-in ND filter.
  • Active E: use compatible E-mount lenses or suitable third-party adapters. The short flange distance leaves room for PL-to-E adapters with drop-in filtration, such as a compatible MOFAGE POCO II configuration. Electronic functions depend on the lens and adapter; VISTA does not provide autofocus.

The camera-side mount is interchangeable using four screws and the correct installation procedure. Your choice today can change with your lens collection.

Built for a compact shooting setup

The 4-inch OLED touchscreen rotates and articulates for different operating positions. Two full-size HDMI connections provide external monitoring options. Power comes from a compatible GripBAT 2Si/NP-F550-style battery or the locking DC input. USB-C2 also accepts 12V PD power with a battery installed in the camera.

Compare the VISTA Core Kit and VISTA Pro Kit if you need batteries, recording media, handles or rigging. These are accessory packages; the camera and lenses are separate items. A Gafpa Gear VISTA LUT Pack is included with this camera offer.

The camera-side mount uses a four-screw attachment. KineMOUNT, Active E and Active PL can be exchanged with the correct hardware and installation procedure. KineMOUNT requires a separate lens adapter; the native Active PL mount has no built-in ND. See the Overview tab for the lens setup supplied with this product.

Firmware and feature availability

Firmware 10.1 adds higher recording frame rates, full-frame oversampled 4K 50p in ProRes 422 HQ, UAC microphone support and improved lens and anamorphic metadata. Install a supported firmware version before relying on those functions.

Kinefinity’s FAQ schedules gyroscope metadata for post-production stabilisation and UVC webcam mode for a Q4 2026 firmware/app update. These are upcoming features. VISTA does not provide autofocus or sensor-shift IBIS.

VISTA codecs, resolutions and frame rates

Choose the sensor area as well as the resolution. Cropped modes use a smaller part of the sensor and change the field of view. Oversampled modes reduce a larger sensor readout to a smaller recording resolution.

Recording codecs

Codec File format Bit depth Reference setting
ProRes 422HQ QuickTime .mov 10-bit KineLOG3 / supported look settings
ProRes 422 QuickTime .mov 10-bit KineLOG3 / supported look settings
ProRes 422LT QuickTime .mov 10-bit KineLOG3 / supported look settings
H.265 Max QuickTime .mov 10-bit 400Mbps @4K 25fps
H.265 High QuickTime .mov 10-bit 200Mbps @4K 25fps
H.265 Normal QuickTime .mov 10-bit 80Mbps @4K 25fps

The H.265 bitrate examples above apply to 4K at 25 fps. They are not fixed values for every recording mode. All listed codecs are 10-bit. Kinefinity confirms that VISTA currently has no internal RAW, ProRes 4444 or external ProRes RAW recording.

Recording modes

The limits below follow Kinefinity’s detailed mode table and the firmware 10.1 update. For a particular codec at the maximum listed speed, confirm availability in the installed firmware. Swipe each table sideways on a small screen to see the full sensor-area details.
