Kinefinity Active PL Mount
The direct PL body mount provides a rigid connection for cinema lenses and supports compatible lens metadata. It is a useful choice for crews using PL lenses throughout a shoot.
Direct PL and KineMOUNT PL adapters
This mount attaches directly to the camera with four screws. It does not contain an ND filter. On VISTA, exposure filtration comes from a separate lens or matte-box solution; for Kinefinity’s PL e-ND adapter, fit KineMOUNT and the PL e-ND adapter instead. The Edge camera’s built-in ND is a separate system.
For VISTA, MAVO Edge 6K/8K and MAVO mark2 LF/S35 with the compatible interchangeable front. For an Edge 8K made before March 2023, contact us with the serial number to arrange the necessary front conversion.
A mount choice you can change
The camera-body mount is attached with four screws. You can replace it with KineMOUNT, Active E or Active PL. Changing a KineMOUNT lens adapter uses the locking interface instead; it does not require removing those four body-mount screws. Work with the camera switched off and protect the sensor opening from dust.
