Kinefinity EAGLE SDI viewfinder in Cyber
The Cyber EAGLE SDI is the silver-finish version of Kinefinity’s electronic viewfinder for SDI camera rigs. It uses the same Micro-OLED panel, optical eyepiece and monitoring platform as the Black model. Choose the finish to suit your rig; it does not change the image tools or signal formats.
The standalone Cyber package includes the viewfinder and 40cm D-Tap cord. It is a good fit when you already have an EVF mount and camera power system. If you also need the Mini Mount, eyecushion and thread adapter, choose the Cyber Viewfinder Kit.
An optical eyepiece for focus and framing
Behind the eyepiece is a 0.71-inch Micro-OLED panel with a 1920 × 1080 image. The 33-degree viewing field and adjustable −6D to +2D diopter let you set the optical focus for your eyesight. Its enclosed viewing position is useful outdoors, where reflections and changing ambient light can make an open monitor harder to read.
Magnification and peaking help inspect focus. Waveform, histogram, false colour and zebra support exposure decisions. The EAGLE uses 10-bit image processing with an 8-bit display panel. A fanless body and 2.5W power consumption keep the viewfinder silent beside the camera.

Cables and eyecushions
The supplied 40cm D-Tap SDI viewfinder cord powers the EVF. Choose the 70cm version for a longer power route. A replacement E-Viewfinder Eye Cushion is available separately.

Supported monitoring signals
1920 × 1080 progressive: 23.98, 24, 25, 29.97, 30, 47.95, 50, 59.94 and 60fps. PsF: 23.98, 24, 25 and 29.97fps. Interlaced: 50i, 59.94i and 60i.
The input supports 3G and 1.5G SDI. For a camera with a 12G SDI output, select its compatible 3G monitoring output in the camera menu.
Choose the SDI package and finish
- Standalone viewfinder: Black or Cyber, with the 40cm D-Tap cord.
- Viewfinder kit: Black Kit or Cyber Kit, with Mini Mount, eyecushion and screw adapter.

Setup questions
Does Cyber have a different display?
No. Cyber and Black are finish choices. Choose the standalone or kit package according to the mounting accessories you need.
Does USB-C power the SDI model?
No. The SDI model uses its separate 7–24V power connection. Its USB-C connection is for firmware updates. Use the included D-Tap cord with a suitable power source.
Which mounting parts do I still need?
The standalone package needs a mounting solution. The kit includes the Mini Mount and thread adapter; any additional camera-specific support is separate. Send us your rig details for a matching arrangement.
Where do I find firmware and camera setup help?
Our EAGLE HDMI and SDI firmware guide covers updates for both models. Firmware adds monitoring functions; it does not replace the camera’s video connection. For supported camera metadata and a suitable power arrangement, ask Gafpa Gear about your specific setup.
