About these comparisons
These are paired recordings from our existing camera tests, processed with the selected CameraMatchLab match. Legacy and REVEAL use separate matches and separate developments of the ARRI reference. The pipeline selector does not identify a different reference camera.
Both sides receive the same ARRI viewing LUT for the selected pipeline. Preview images are aligned around the chart; perspective, depth and focus can still differ elsewhere. Image zoom is preview zoom, not native sensor-pixel magnification.
Scopes come from original float EXR pixels before preview resizing and browser display conversion. They measure Rec.709 / gamma 2.4 values using common axes and density normalisation. The chart selection covers the same physical SG chart on both cameras; the common-area selection covers the paired scene crop. Changing trace gain or scope zoom changes the display, not the measurements.
Results describe these recordings and lighting conditions. Some chart material contributed to fitting and model selection; this is not an independent test of every material or light source. Values outside an axis are counted rather than clamped; endpoint values alone do not establish sensor clipping.
