Aivascope 1.5X Amber Anamorphic Adapter
The Aivascope 1.5X Amber Anamorphic Adapter seamlessly connects DIY anamorphic enthusiasts with professional anamorphic cinematographers. Merging the strengths of both worlds, it offers the coveted anamorphic aesthetic in a compact, single-focus solution, compatible with the Arri LWS rod system.
To use, simply slide the adapter in front of the spherical (taking) lens. Ensure the taking lens is set to infinity and adjust the focus using the Aivascope. It offers close focus up to 80cm and incorporates an 82mm screw thread for diopters or additional filters. The focus ring provides a 190-degree rotation, facilitating manual focus pulls and compatibility with focus motors or follow focus systems. Lightweight, the adapter tips the scales at just 700 grams. Its aesthetic appeal, a pivotal aspect of anamorphic shooting, echoes the coveted qualities of the Iscorama 36 adapter, often considered the pinnacle for 1.5X enthusiasts.
